OPHELIA IS THIRSTY

Cecilia: When words become useless or incomplete, when the energy, outcome of accumulated distress, needs to leave me to come to world, it’s time to get my body into action. I’m training myself everyday to be an expression of what my mouth is just unable to contemplate. I’m training myself to be a mirror of men, to every human being who watches me, can be seen and can see themselves represented on me. That’s my work being an actress. A small change is already earned my stay on the planet. Because if a human being who watches me performing gets melting in some way or becomes able to take an usual look to our world, it means that they have become a little more sensitive doing so. That’s my seeking as an artist. Sensitivity and transformation.
